Christmas has come early
We were delighted to be joined by Sylvia MacLeod on Friday 15th December, to draw our Christmas raffle.
Sylvia’s late husband was Cllr Jim MacLeod, who passed away recently, and they have both been great supporters of Parklea for a number of years. It was lovely to have Sylvia with us to draw tickets, along with the girls, Abbie, Caitlin and Iona.
We sold over 1300 tickets for this year’s raffle and raised over £2600 to go towards our fundraising efforts. This will go along way to assist in the landscaping of the grounds surrounding our new Community Hub/Cafe which is due to open next year.
A huge thank you to everyone that bought a ticket.
We couldn’t have achieved such a successful raffle without the support we received from companies near and far, who donated the excellent prizes. There was 16 wonderful prizes to be won, from vouchers, to hampers, to an overnight stay and a TV. All the winners have been contacted. We would also like to thank them.
Wishing you all a peaceful and happy Christmas and all the best for 2024.
