Parklea takes to the street

We are delighted to collaborate with Inverclyde Council on the soft landscaping for the regeneration of West Blackhall Street in Greenock.

Last week saw the commencement of the first two phases, where we planted Acer Globosum trees in each of the circular containers. These trees will grow and be shaped into a spherical form as time progresses.

Once the lighting is in place, a variety of evergreens will be planted around the bases as underplanting.

We then filled the rectangular planters with a mixture of evergreens - that aren't just green! Euonymus, Heuchera, Hebe & Rosemary will give all year round interest and should be easy for us to maintain.

Additionally, a five-year maintenance contract following the initial planting phase will provide numerous learning opportunities for Parklea Branching Out clients, and apprentices, to acquire off-site experience!

Should you see our team onsite, please say Hi!
