On your bike
Despite the rain, our cycling event, which took place on Monday 31 July, was a great success.
The aim of the event was to show that cycling really is accessible to all and ties in with the UCI World Cycling Championships which start today, 3 Aug, throughout Glasgow and Scotland.
Over 40 people joined us to have a try on the different types of bikes available, from side by side tandems, wheelchair carriers, various trikes to 4 wheel bikes. Inverclyde Bothy also joined us to let visitors have a try of their E-bikes.
Accessible bikes are growing in popularity and allow people with a range of disabilities to enjoy the sport.
This event was made possible with funding from #EventScotland and support from Inverclyde Council.
Our bikes are really popular so if you are interested in giving one a try please contact the office on 01475 744516 for more information.
