What a flippin’ day

Of course we had to make pancakes today.

We have had a great time, getting together in the glass house.

They were a huge success and ahead of Valentines Day tomorrow, Megan even made some heart shaped ones.

Everyone agreed they were very tasty!

So if you would like to make some at home tonight, here is our easy recipe.

Remember to wash your hands!

You will need - 1 cup self raising flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 medium egg, a pinch of salt and a small knob of butter

A large bowl, a regular mug, a sieve, a spoon and a frying pan.

Using a regular mug, fill to the top with the flour and sieve into a bowl.

Using the same mug, fill to the top with the milk and pour the milk into the bowl with the flour.

Crack the egg into the mixture and mix all together.

Turn your hob or ring on to a medium heat and add the butter to your frying pan. When it has melted, add 1/4 of the mixture to the pan. When the bubbles appear, turn it over and when golden on both sides, remove from the pan and they are ready to eat with your favourite toppings.

Enjoy!
