Thank you for thinking of us
You may remember before Christmas we asked our friends, family and followers to nominate us for share of a festive fund, run by the Benefact Group.
Well thanks to your nominations we have been gifted £1000!
Parklea Branching Out was one of 120 winning charities to receive a of a £1,000 donation as part of Benefact Group’s sixth annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign and now you can do it again by clicking this link.
We have the opportunity to be nominated again multiple times in 2024, the next draw is on 20th May. So please take a moment to click the link.
Nominations are accepted between Jan 1st 2024 – 19 Dec 2024.
During this time anyone can nominate their favourite charity or charities for an award of £1,000 – it’s one nomination per charity, per person.
There are six £1,000 draws in 2024, so the earlier you nominate, the more chances your charity has of being drawn.
Once you’ve nominated, your charity will be included in all the remaining £1,000 draws in 2024.
The more nominations a charity gets, the better their chances of being drawn, so once you’ve nominated please share with your network.
Sharon Gemmell, Manager at Parklea, said, "We are absolutely thrilled to have received this boost in our funding and would very much welcome it again. It greatly contributes to our ongoing efforts to provide support services for our clients and assists us in the meeting the needs of the local community."
Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive of Benefact Group, said: “We know that charities are struggling, and for many, the festive season is a critical time. We would like to thank every single person who took the time to nominate a cause close to their hearts as part of our annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign.
“Benefact Group is the third largest corporate donor in the UK and has an ambition to be the biggest. Owned by a charity, Benefact Trust, all of its available profits go to good causes, and the more the Group grows, the more the Group can give.
“We know that £1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work that charities do and we’re looking forward to seeing how this financial boost will change lives for the better.”
Benefact Group has donated over £200million to over 10,000 charitable causes since 2014. The organisation aims to reach £250million in donations by 2025.
Movement for Good is funded by EIO plc, part of the Benefact Group.
